Week 31: Baby Room Update

The baby room is finally finished. The painting is complete, the closet is finished and the door is back on. We are both quite happy that this is finally done.

Tonight we built the crib and put the rocking chair in place. We will start to decorate this week. Just need to hang a few things on the wall and vacuum.

Baby even has clothes in the wonderful closet that daddy built!

We attended our first prenatal class on Sunday, it was a long day but I think we both found it very informative. Next week we will learn about what to do with baby when we bring baby home.

We learnt that at the Civic you get to keep your baby with you at all times from delivery on, there is no nursery and daddy gets to stay over night if he wishes once baby arrives. Mommy will be there for 48hrs.

Thursday this week we will see the Dr. again, we are on the 2 week schedule now.

Baby is being very active these days, kicking hard enough to see my belly move.

Next week new belly photo's. Hopefully baby room photo's too!

Week 29: Dr's Appt

Dr's appt on Monday went well. Baby is continuing to grow at a good rate.
Heart rate ws 130 bpm from the Dr's estimate.

3 more weeks till our next ultrasound...

Week 28 - Baby Room Gets Painted

Daddy is painting the baby room this week. We are on vacation.

I've posted the colour down the right hand side. It's not translating to the monitor very well. As soon as its done I'll post a photo of the room.
