Which came first?

Teeth

First tooth arrived on Nov 27th, bottom left.

Second tooth arrived on Nov 29th, bottom right. It's not completely through yet but its there.

Steps

1st steps came before his birthday, one or two here and there. Today was the day he walked everywhere! Check it out.

Happy Birthday - 365 days old

It gives it meaning to say it in days doesn't it? 12 months, 1 year just seems so short. It's been a long but quick first year. I can't believe we brought him home from the hospital only 12 months ago. Not knowing him at all, not recognizing him when we first saw him. These are things of the past. Ronan our son, has his own personality now, you recognize him when you look through baby photo's and we know is cries of joy.

I think Ronan was as excited about the cake as I was making it for him.

To celebrate his 365 days with us we had 2 celebrations: 1 with his playmates and 1 with his family. Ronan celebrated with his playmates on his birthday 19 Nov 08. I think he had alot of fun.

After the cake we managed to assemble some of the kids for a photo.

His second party with family came on Saturday it included a Skype call from New Brunswick with his Nanny & Papa and Auntie Heather & Uncle Scott. His Uncle Jason, Auntie Carla & cousins Connor & Blake came from Markham, ON and his Grannie and Grampa Keown from Ottawa were all here to help him celebrate a second time.

Food: EVERYTHING! Ronan eats with us for all meals now. He especially loves french toast, pizza and tuna roma.

Fall

Ronan helped me rake some leaves on Sunday. He was dressed for the cool weather. It took him a little while to warm up to the idea of crawling around in a snow suit but after he figured it out he had a great time.

Halloween

We visited the library for Halloween sing song on Thursday, that's Ronan & I on the right hand side.

Ronan did some treat or treating on Friday night, he dressed as a pumpkin.

He had 2 skype calls one with Auntie Heather and one with his cousins in Toronto. He's really getting the hang of skype, now when he sees the laptop he wants to talk to someone.
