Christmas Day 2008

Ronan was definitely more interested in christmas this year.

Ronan opened his stocking and looked at his gifts from Santa. I think Bailey was his favorite. then we ate breakfast and opened our presents. Ronan enjoyed tearing the paper and pulling out the tissue paper, he even helped mommy open one of her gifts. (Below: Ronan opening gift from Nanny - Shiny)

Enjoying a swing on christmas day, the swing still lives in the hallway closet and Ronan tries to pull it out everyday. I kept putting it off and finally the weather was nice so out we went.

Antie Kiera, Grannie & Grandpa came for dinner.

I think Santa forgot one of his Reindeer.

Overall he was good. I think the biscuit to distract him at the beginning helped.

13 Month Update

Ronan has started to climb. This has allowed him a new freedom to sit in whichever chair he chooses and relax. It has also allowed him to get a few bruises.

Ronan has added a few more signs to his repetoire.

He can also climb the stairs and go down the stairs on his knees.

Ronan will be starting daycare tomorrow. As I'll be going back to work Jan 5, 2009. Tomorrow will be his second day. He'll stay for a few hours.

Morning naps are slowing being dropped in favor of hone afternoon nap for 1.5hrs. Ronan has turned his car seat around so he can now see out the front window. I think he's loving it.

12 month Check up (@ almost 13 months)

Ronan went to see the Dr. on Tuesday. He was to get his 12 month old boosters and mommy asked for a flu shot too. So that was a total of 3 needles. He did great, the first needle didn't even phase him, the second needle stung a bit so we had some tears then the third one was more than enough for him. He didn't have any trouble with any of them and slept great and was back to himself the next day.



Dr. says he's doing great, he's average on height, weight, but has a large head. He'll have his head checked again at his next appointment at 15 months. More needles at 15 months.

He even walked around the Dr's office so he was able to see him walking.

Teeth Update

Check out those chompers. They are coming in nicely. Still just two. No sign of any others.

Ronan & Santa Claus

Ronan met Santa Claus last weekend at the CAE christmas party (Matthew's work). He wasn't sure what to think of him.
