3rd Birthday Party

Ronan turned 3 on Nov 19th and had his birthday party the following day. Nannie Kelly and I made a Thomas and a Paddington Bear cake.

Ronan's sentiments on how turning 3 feels.

There were lots of great friends at the party. They played crazy forts, Thomas the train, colouring, and dress up. Posing for the photo was easy when you know you'll get a treat bag afterwards!
There were balloon animals, dinner and of course cake and opening presents.

Nannie and Papa visit from NB

What a week its been. Soo many good memories. Here are just a couple of the adventures Ronan took his Nannie and Papa on this past week.

A trip to the park with Nannie. Walking the Balance beam.
Having a snack with Papa, yes you can be a clown too!
And the grand finale the Santa Claus parade. It sure was cold out, but we stuck it out and waited for Santa. After 1.5hrs we finally got to see the big guy! He even waved right at us. I think he got our letters.

Halloween

We carved a jack o lantern before dinner of Ronan's choosing. Although he was not interested in scooping out the pumpkin guts or picking out the peices as they fell through. We managed to finish it and have it placed back on the front step just in time for the tricker treaters.

Wow, what a difference being almost 3yrs old can make at Halloween. Ronan was ready to go as soon as we finished dinner including Halloween Jello!

He dressed in his Panda costume quickly and didn't complain one moment, he even welcome the nose and wisker face paint. He was heading out the door before I could get dressed to follow him.

We trick & treated with our neighbours which I think helped Ronan keep going. We only did 6 houses last year, this year Ronan made it all the way around the block and was still going when we hit our house. He posed for a few photo's along the way and stopped next to his jack'o'lantern when we arrived home.

Finally the review of what Candy he received, sorting and playing with it on the livingroom floor lasted almost 30mins. He enjoyed taking his turn at handing out the candy after we arrived home as well and eventually warmed up to giving compliments to a few young girls about their costumes.

First Snow Fall

Ronan was excited that the snow stuck this weekend. We dressed and headed up for 1.5hrs of snow time. We built a snow man and a snow fort and made snow angels. Ronan found his shovel and did some shoveling as well.
