Christmas brought the Keown family together throughout the week. Auntie Kiera visited on Christmas Eve and brought the light for Ronan's club house. She also spent some time hanging out with Ronan which he enjoyed quick alot!
Uncle Jason and cousins ConnorBlake (as Ronan would say it) arrived on Thursday night to join us for dinner and some play time. The cousins played in the basement and the new club house for a few hours before they headed to Granny's house for bedtime. Friday brought us all to the movie theatre to see Yogi Bear in 3D, Ronan's very first movie. The reviews were positive.

Christmas Day was filled with many smiles including opening the stocking, checking out the snack that Santa ate and opening presents but only after eating breakfast that Daddy made.
Ronan's Christmas activities ramped up this year, with a christmas concert (see previous post), baking Gingerbreak cookies with Mommy, kid's Christmas party by Daddy's office, and a letter and snacks for Santa.
Skating lesson one on the backyard rink with Daddy went well. Ronan is excited to learn how to stand and walk on his skates so that he can be on the ice with his hockey stick. The rink was up and running by Christmas day and was active until the 3 days of rain we received over the New Year's weekend. Thankfully this last weekend we received enough snow to rebuild the edges of our rink and the flooding has begun.
