New Hat

Ronan received a new baseball hat. The hat he was wearing is really too small for him but he loved it soo. Thanks Granny its become the new favorite.

Gymnastics Graduate

Ronan graduated from gymnastics last weekend. He joined the gymnastics program this spring.

The gymnastics program was called Komet Kids and was for 3-4year old children. The program was designed to teach the children about moving their bodies including stretching and balancing. They were also learning about listening to the instructor. Ronan's instructor was "Jenga".

Here are a few photo's from Ronan's final class.

Meeting his brother

Ronan visited the hospital on Day 2 to meet his little brother Declan. He was such a proud big brother who did a great job holding Declan for the first time. Check out that smile!

Second trip to the Emergency Room

Ronan took a trip to the emergency room last night after a fall in the park. He was riding his bike as he often does after dinner. While riding his attention was diverted to a big plane in the sky. The moment he told his dad to look to the sky to see the plane he lost control of his bike and crashed.

Thankfully he had a helmet on. Safety first! He did however hit his chin on the pavement. I was just arriving at the park when Matthew was walking towards home carrying his bike and helmet.

After a hug and a quick examination of the wound we headed for home. After I cleaned it up I made a phone call to our doctor's office after hours helpline and with their help determined it needed stitches.

Matthew took him to the Queensway Carleton Hospital at 7:30pm. The wait wasn't too bad. They arrived home just around 10:00pm. Ronan was a trooper at the hospital he received two stitches and many stickers.

To cap off the evening he visited Tim Hortons for a 10 pack of timbits. If you go at the end of the day you get "extra timbits"!!

He's back to school today!
